Do not walk away! (poem)
Do not walk away from her.
Turn back! Ask her to dance!
You promised her you'd find her.
Yes, it took so long -- a whole life.
But if you hold her, she won't need her cane,
And you will drop yours.
The bandoneón will play
And restore the lost years.
Do not walk away.
Turn back! Ask her to dance!
